Glazialrelikt
A nearly forgotten plant, now rarely found, is brought to life in music: the dwarf birch (Betula nana), an endangered relic of the Ice Age. Brief interjections of syllables and consonants and lush glissandi evoke the vitality of its preferred habitat - the moor - and frame the description of the plant and its displacement.
